For me, it has always been simply this:
Be upfront at the start. Everyone’s time is equally valuable. I always try to determine as soon as possible if my home buying services are best suited to the seller’s situation. We will talk and see if it is a good fit.
Respond in a timely manner. There are always various options the seller is considering. By responding quickly it helps the seller decide if we should enter into a transaction together. And often times, I can offer advice as to what other options they might consider.
Be Flexible. Everyone’s situation and reasons for wishing to sell are different. I always try to structure the transaction to best fit the seller’s needs. Sometimes this means helping with moving costs, or adding in some extra time the seller can stay in the home after closing. There are many ways to be flexible so the transaction can work for us both.
Integrity always comes first. Absolutely of primary importance. A person’s word must be as good as if it were in writing. My reputation in the real estate community is extremely important to me. Being in the business since 1984 has taught me that integrity must come first. You can have confidence that our transaction will go smoothly and easily.
Respect. Be honest and fair with people. Treat everyone with courtesy and kindness. We all share so very much in common with each other.
